CORNELIUS, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Students were bussed from a Cornelius middle school following a pipe bomb threat Monday morning, according to the Cornelius Police Department and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. The threat was reported just before 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 16, at Bailey Middle School. Police say students are being bussed to Foamex which is right down the street from the school. Map of where students are being bussed to via Cornelius PD Parents are advised to NOT go to the school and to go to the Foamex location at 18801 Old Statesville Road.
