(KRON) -- A police officer was injured when sideshow spectators overran his vehicle on Saturday, according to the San Jose Police Department. In video of the incident obtained by KRON4 (watch in the player above), a group of spectators can be seen mobbing the officer's vehicle. Several spectators jumped up on the vehicle's hood while one masked individual can be seen stomping on the windshield. Several other spectators can be seen pounding on the vehicle while others filmed the incident on their phones.
