Blue Bell is giving fans a peek at its newest ice cream flavor, and social media is melting down over the addition.
Yesterday, the cult-favorite creamery behind some of the top-ranking vanilla and chocolate ice cream flavors (as well as unique picks like its Brookie À La Mode, Chocolate Lava Cake and Southern Blackberry Cobbler) revealed it’s launching a new variety inspired by a popular coffee beverage.
While coffeehouses transition from vibrant, summery drinks to the autumnal staple of pumpkin spice, Blue Bell is choosing to embrace everyday favorites, announcing the arrival of its new latte-inspired ice cream flavor: White Chocolate Mocha.
Blue Bell Reveals New Limited-Time White Chocolate Mocha Ice Cream Flavor: “Your Favorite Iced Coffee, Now in a Carton”
In a first-look photo that Blue Bell teased in a Sept. 9 Instagram post, the brand touted the new flavor as something even “cooler” than your coffee run.
“Something NEW is brewing at Blue Bell, and it arrives in stores beginning tomorrow,” the caption continued.

While Blue Bell wasn’t willing to share all of the details at the time, social media users took it upon themselves to guess the newcomer, suggesting that stores could soon be welcoming a caramel mocha or a salted caramel mocha-inspired ice cream.
Another declared, “It has to be a Mocha Frappe Coffee flavor.”
“I’m ngl I’m foaming at the mouth,” someone else teased of all the prospects.
View this post on InstagramIt wasn’t until Thursday that the ice cream brand revealed it would offer a creamy, frozen version of the classic and sweet espresso beverage that’s served hot, cold, and even as a blended Frappuccino.
“No need to complicate this coffee order!” Blue Bell declared in its Sept. 10 Instagram announcement. “One scoop of NEW Blue Bell White Chocolate Mocha Ice Cream, please.”
According to the brand, its new White Chocolate Mocha features a “delicious coffee-flavored ice cream with white chocolate-flavored flakes and a vanilla-flavored whipped cream swirl.” It’s everything consumers “love about the iced coffee, now in a carton.”
“Uh oh. I’m in trouble now,” one Instagram user replied. “This looks wayyyyy too good for me to be able to control myself.”
“Big back behavior,” another joked, while someone else said they “need this.”
“Oh I’m excited for this one,” a fourth cheered.
“Sounds like a banger,” another applauded.
“Ouuuu,” one more wrote, “I can’t wait to try that.”

All that said, and despite most being hyped, a small group of fans said they’re not impressed by the white chocolate and are hoping for the return of more distinctive limited-time flavors like Monster Cookie Dough, Cookie Dough Overload, Pecan Pie, and White Chocolate Almond.
