Sport by : (PRESSBEE) -

The Champions League match between PSG and Barcelona was a thrilling display of skill, determination, and passion. The game started off with PSG taking an early lead, but Barcelona quickly responded with a goal of their own. The two teams went back and forth throughout the match, each showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive resilience.

In the end, it was Barcelona who emerged victorious with a 3-2 win over PSG. The victory was a testament to Barcelona's ability to perform under pressure and come from behind to secure the win. It was a hard-fought battle that showcased the talent and determination of both teams.

Atletico Madrid hold a slender lead heading to Borussia Dortmund for the reverse fixture.

Raphinha was the star of the show for Barca with a brace, which was topped by Andreas Christensen’s header.

Ousmane Dembele and Vitinha have given the Parisians a chance heading to Spain but overall, their performance will have to improve greatly.

The hosts come into this game with the talismanic Kylian Mbappé and former Blaugrana forward Ousmane Dembélé in line to start alongside their fit-again skipper Marquinhos. Barcelona boss Xavi's main concern ahead of this fixture is that seven of his players are on the precipice of suspension, meaning a cautious approach may be taken by the visitors.

PSG start, Barcelona took control of the tie and Raphinha scored his first Champions League goal when Gianluigi Donnarumma spilled Lamine Yamal’s cross.

These two last met in 2021 with PSG blasting Barca out of the water 5-2 on aggregate with Mbappe excelling against Lionel Messi before the legendary Argentina international joined the French capital outfit. This, though, is the first time that the Catalans have reached the UCL quarterfinals since they were blown away 8-2 by Bayern Munich and Xavi has his side on an 11-game unbeaten streak across all competitions.

PSG were booed off the pitch as the half-time whistle blew at the Parc des Princes but Luis Enrique switched his team’s shape and it led to a stunning turnaround immediately after the restart.

The match showcased the resilience and determination of both teams, with moments of brilliance from individual players shining through. In the end, Barcelona emerged victorious, leaving fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle blew.
