Billie Eilish Announces New Album ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’

Billie Eilish, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, has recently announced her highly anticipated new album titled ‘hit Me Hard And Soft’. Fans all over the world are buzzing with excitement as they eagerly await the release of this new musical masterpiece.

Known for her unique and haunting sound, Billie Eilish has captured the hearts of millions with her raw and emotional lyrics. Her previous albums have been met with critical acclaim and commercial success, making her one of the most influential artists of our time.

As expected, Billie Eilish has officially announced her third full-length album: “‘HIT ME HARD AND SOFT,’ MY THIRD ALBUMMMMMMMMMMMMM COMES OUT MAY 17THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHH,” she wrote in an emoji-loaded social media post accompanied by a photo of the album’s cover, which features Eilish underwater, swimming toward an open white door. “So crazy to be writing this right now i’m nervyyyyy & exciteddd. Not doing singles i wanna give it to you all at once. Finneas and i truly could not be more proud of this album and we absolutely can’t wait for you to hear it. Love you love you love you.”

Hit Me Hard and Soft will follow the musician’s 2019 debut When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and her 2021 sophomore effort Happier Than Ever, both of which topped the Billboard 200 for three weeks. This time around, Eilish is aiming to be even more eco-friendly with her album rollout than ever before, telling Billboard in a new interview, “If I don’t use that privilege to do some good in the world, then what’s the point?”

Her sustainability efforts surrounding her third LP include using recycled materials for the physical copies of Hit Me Hard and Soft. “We are doing everything we can to minimize waste in every aspect of my music,” she continued. “[My label has] listened to my concerns and helped me find the best way forward when releasing music and product into the world.”

Earlier this month, Eilish signed a new open letter submitted by the Artist Rights Alliance nonprofit, calling on AI tech companies, developers, platforms, digital music services and platforms to stop using artificial intelligence “to infringe upon and devalue the rights of human artists,” according to the letter.

All physical variants of “Hit Me Hard and Soft” will feature the same tracklist and will be made of 100% recyclable materials, a press release from Eilish said.
