Bhubaneswar: A retired junior clerk in Kandhamal district has been sentenced to three years rigorous imprisonment in a bribery case. Amulya Kumar Sahu, Ex-Jr. Clerk (Retd), O/o Executive Engineer, Rural Works Division, Phulbani, who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance in Berhampur Vig. PS Case No.04/2020 U/s 7 P.C. Amendment Act, 2018 for taking bribe, was convicted to 3 years jail with fine of Rs. 5,000. In default of payment of the fine, Sahu will undergo further rigorous imprisonment for 3 months more for the offence.
