GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (NCN) – The Christmas spirit has arrived on one of the most diverse streets in Grand Island. As part of the business improvement district project on Fourth Street, business owners and the community are organizing events to attract people to the area. Christmas Around the World is meant to do just that. On Thursday night, businesses across Fourth Street offered holiday sales and specials. Visitors were able to vote for the best Christmas storefront. Raul Arcos-Hawkins is a volunteer with the BID project.
