Berhampur: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will today flag off the special Baristha Nagarika Tirtha Yatra Train from Berhampur today. The train will carry 970 senior citizens who will be taken to pilgrimage to Kanyakumari, Trivandrum and other places in south India. Under this scheme of Government of Odisha, senior citizens are given a chance to visit the important pilgrimage centres of the country. Senior citizens from Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Boudh and Nayagarh districts are being taken in the special train. All necessary arrangements for a smooth journey have been provided by the government of Odisha. Thirty guides are also going with the pilgrims who will provide all help to the senior
