PEMBERVILLE – The parking lots at Eastwood High School have been transformed into works of art. Juniors and seniors picked a parking spot and grabbed brooms, tape and buckets of paint to create their own artwork, which they started last weekend. This is the first year the school has allowed students to paint a spot, said Principal Jim Kieper. He said 50 kids signed up as of the first week of September. “The kids have seen them as they’ve gone to other schools,” he said about the idea. “For the last couple years, the seniors have asked if they could do it.” He said seniors had first dibs on a spot then he offered the opportunity to juniors.
