The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) said the Ain Sokhna port is gearing up to receive the world’s fantasia-class cruise ship MSC Splendida which is due to reach the port in the beginning of the coming week. The giant cruise liner can carry up at least 1,500 tourists of various nationalities. Within this context, the port received MSC Sinfoia ship carrying 1,507 tourists coming from Greece. Walid Gamal el Din, SCZONE Chairman, said the authority is laying down a clear plan to benefit from its ports in activating tourism.
