Qatar Charity (QC) has implemented the ‘Feed the Fasting’ project in many African countries, by distributing food parcels to poor families, persons with special needs, and families of orphans in Sudan, Kenya, South Africa, and Ghana. The project is being implemented as part of QC’s ‘Ramadan of Hope’ drive. In Sudan, 3,760 food baskets have been distributed, with 5,600 more to be given during the rest of Ramadan. Some 40,000 people are expected to benefit from the project in the states of Khartoum, Gezira, the Nile River, Gedaref and Kassala in Sudan.
