Patna: A teenager who was brutally killed for being in love was cremated in front of the house of the accused in Bihar, triggering tension in the area. A heavy police force has been deployed at the village to calm the tension even as the police have arrested the main accused. According to reports, Saurabh Kumar, 17, a resident of Muzaffarpur district, had gone to meet his girlfriend on Friday evening when the family members caught him. Subsequently, the boy was tied to a tree and badly beaten with sticks and iron rods until he fell unconscious. The boy’s genitals were also chopped by the accused, police said.
