Abdul-Karim, at a press conference, called on Lebanese competent authorities to hunt and punish those who perpetrated the assault as this harms the image of Lebanon. “It is regrettable and unjustifiable what has happened by a number of Lebanese persons who attacked Syrians who were heading for the Embassy to practice their duty,” ambassador Abdul-Karim said.
