The General Directorate of Narcotics Control's spokesman Mohammad Al-Nujaidi said the agency, in joint work with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority in Jeddah, managed to halt an attempt to smuggle 2,700,000 amphetamine tablets, hidden inside the roof of a truck trailer. Al-Nujaidi said the three individuals involved in the case were arrested.
