TMZ broke the news of Mann’s shooting accident on Sunday, November 1, revealing that the filmmaker had sustained a leg injury while handling a firearm.
The director was reportedly attempting to holster his gun when it discharged, striking him in the leg. Mann, an experienced target shooter, was taken to a hospital around 4 p.m. on Saturday.
