Traffic is being turned on eastbound Interstate 80 in the Hirschdale area due to a jackknifed semi truck, CHP Truckee said Saturday afternoon.
The closure was put in place shortly before 2:15 p.m. according to Caltrans.
CHP said the truck is blocking the road in the Farad area, and there is no estimated time for when the road will reopen.
It is unclear if there were any injuries as a result of the incident.
