The Daytime Emmys just made an exciting announcement about who will announce and narrate the 53rd annual event, and it’s a voice that will sound familiar to fans of reality TV.
Former Love Island USA announcer Matthew Hoffman took to Instagram to announce that he would be joining the Daytime Emmys as announcer and narrator for the event. Hoffman shared, “An honor to be part of a night celebrating the very best in daytime television.”
The fan-favorite narrator said he can’t wait and ended his post with “See you Friday!”
Hoffman was the original voice of Love Island USA when the series aired on CBS for its first three seasons. When the series moved to Peacock the narration was taken over by Love Island U.K. narrator Iain Stirling.
