Sometimes I just want to share something beautiful that I saw in the collectibles world.
And this? This is BEAUTIFUL:
This Cubs fan built an incredible collection of Topps Dynasty patch autographs… Wow. ?? (? Chip Meyer/FB) t.co/ueGJTLpJNL
— Topps (@Topps) October 21, 2026That’s a whopping 87 Topps Dynasty patch auto cards from Chicago Cubs players, many associated with the 2016 World Series championship team. I have to believe that’s the finest collection out there of that particular subset of this particular class of card.
The Dynasty patch cards have always been one of the most aesthetically pleasing cards out there to me thanks to their huge, typically-colorful uniform patches. There are some AWESOME patches in that collection, including some unique throwbacks.
Depending on your version, these can run anywhere from a hundred bucks to well over a thousand. It’s not a cheap set to collect, but it’s not TOO CRAZY for a premium-looking patch/auto card. I don’t currently own any, and I have to admit, this is giving me an itch to get a Javy …
