Two of Thunderbirds' most celebrated adventures are heading back to the big screen this autumn.
It's officially confirmed that a cinema double bill of Atlantic Inferno and Attack of the Alligators! will hit UK screens on Saturday 28 November.
Both episodes of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's Supermarionation classic have been fully restored in 4K from the original film elements, paired with Dolby 5.1 surround mix. The screenings are being billed as a one-off event for audiences old and new.
The double bill continues a run of big-screen outings marking Thunderbirds' 60th anniversary.
First broadcast on 30 September 1965, the show is set in 2065 and follows former astronaut Jeff Tracy and his five sons, who secretly operate International Rescue from a hidden Pacific island, launching their fleet of Thunderbird craft to save lives in disasters beyond the reach of conventional emergency services.
Atlantic Inferno sees Jeff take a rare holiday in Australia, leaving Scott in charge. After a runaway nuclear torpedo sparks fires beneath the Atlantic, Scott hesitates to act following his father's criticism, before leading a rescue when explosions threaten the Seascape drilling rig and trap two crew underwater.
Attack of the Alligators!, meanwhile, follows the theft of an experimental growth drug that leaks into a river and turns ordinary alligators into giants. The creatures surround a remote house, trapping those inside, until International Rescue arrives to subdue them and get the survivors out.

A 4K Collector's Edition Steelbook of Atlantic Inferno and Attack of the Alligators! is also being released for fans who want to take the restorations home.
Thunderbirds is in UK cinemas on Saturday 28 November 2026.
