DHG Properties, the Dubai-based developer and part of Swiss real estate and construction group DHG, has begun handing over Helvetia Residences in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), a residential development valued at $200 million.
The premium project comprises 430 homes across 25 floors, with more than 73,000sqm of built-up area. Completed within 2 years, Helvetia Residences offers studios as well as 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments and marks the first delivery of DHG’s Helvetia residential brand in the UAE.
The handover comes amid continued residential delivery across Dubai, with new developments adding thousands of homes to the market. According to the Dubai Land Department, 104 real estate projects were completed during the first half of the year, representing more than AED111 billion in investment and adding 24,537 units to the market.
To mark the start of handovers, DHG hosted an event attended by government representatives, brokers, business partners and members of the company’s leadership team. Guests were also given a tour of the completed development, including its residences and amenities.
Blagoje Antic, Chairman, CEO and Founder of DHG, said the completion marked the realisation of the company’s vision for its UAE operations.
“Today as we deliver Helvetia Residences, I see a vision brought to life. When we entered Dubai, we made a commitment to bring our Swiss development heritage to the UAE – from the way we build and the standards we maintain to the experience we deliver to homeowners and value we deliver to investors,” he said.
“Reaching handover and seeing the development begin this next chapter is a proud moment and an important milestone for DHG’s journey in the UAE,” Antic added.
Helvetia Residences has been designed around contemporary lifestyles, combining private living spaces with landscaped outdoor areas and a range of amenities. These include a resort-style swimming pool, children’s play area, Technogym-equipped fitness centre, jogging track and rooftop padel court.
The residences feature smart home technology and premium materials, with the development reflecting the design principles associated with DHG’s Helvetia brand.
Milos Antic, Vice Chairman of DHG, said JVC’s established residential profile was a key consideration in selecting the community for the group’s first UAE development.
“JVC has developed into one of Dubai’s most established residential communities, and that was an important factor in choosing it as the location of our first UAE development,” he said.
“As Helvetia Residences moves into the next phase, we also recognise that delivering the keys is only one part of the ownership journey. Our focus now is on ensuring residents continue to experience the quality and level of service associated with DHG well beyond handover,” Antic added.
As part of its post-handover offering, DHG has introduced DHG Property Management, an integrated suite of ownership services covering real estate advisory, long-term leasing, short-term rentals and resale.
The handover marks a significant step in DHG’s UAE expansion, shifting the group from establishing its presence in the market to delivering and managing completed residential communities.
DHG currently has 2 additional developments under construction in Dubai and plans to continue expanding its UAE portfolio, with a focus on location, construction quality, efficient delivery and the long-term value of the communities it develops.
