SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) – A person is in stable condition after a shooting Sunday in the 800 block of San Pascual Street.
On Oct. 4, around 5:30 p.m., dispatchers received several calls about a single shot heard in the area of the 800 block of San Pascual Street and dispatchers learned that an adult shooting victim had been transported from the scene to Cottage Hospital in a vehicle stated a press release from the Santa Barbara Police Department.
Responding officers located "a potential crime scene" on San Pascual Street and the shooting victim was in stable condition as of Sunday evening shared the local law enforcement agency.
Portions of San Pascual Street were shut down as part of the investigation that is still open noted the Santa Barbara Police Department.
At this point in their investigation, it is not believe there is any threat to the broader public the Santa Barbara Police Department shared Sunday evening.
