Starting Oct. 6, Monopoly is returning to McDonald’s for a limited time, promising bigger prizes and a simplified format. And best of all, the return of the classic peel that made the game a fan favorite in the first place.
Unlike the most recent version that leaned heavily into digital, this year McDonald’s is bringing it back to the basics. Every eligible item will come with a physical peel, which you can then scan into the McDonald’s app to redeem prizes or track your progress.
There’s also a ton of cool prizes to win, ranging from everyday freebies to life-changing rewards. Customers can score instant wins like free menu items or MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points, but some of the big-ticket items also include a $1 million cash prize, a 2027 Jeep Cherokee, free McDonald’s for a year, $50,000 toward college debt or a home down payment and travel experiences via Carnival cruise.
There’s also a Chance Card game built into the app, offering additional opportunities to win gift cards, cash prizes and more.
