I don’t want to diminish the fact that defensive linemen Neville Gallimore, Dayo Odeyingbo, and Grady Jarrett; running backs Kyle Monangai and D’Andre Swift; defensive backs Malik Muhammad and Xavier Woods; and All-Pro right tackle Darnell Wright were all listed as full participants on Friday’s injury report. That said, the biggest development here is that left tackle Ozzy Trapilo has gone from limited to full on the participation report. This is bonkers. That is huge news for a player who suffered a ruptured patellar tendon in the team’s January playoff win against the Green Bay Packers.

Remember, Trapilo hasn’t played since January, so I can’t imagine this coaching staff throwing him to the wolves after just one full-participation practice. Could they deploy a rotation with Trapilo, Braxton Jones, and Theo Benedet? That would be a sensible approach. But I suppose we will cross that bridge when we get to it.
