Chicago Bears running back Kyle Monangai will miss today’s game, marking the fifth straight game he’s missed with a turf toe injury.
With Monangai sidelined again, the Bears elevated Salvon Ahmed from the practice squad on Saturday, providing Ben Johnson with more depth in the backfield behind D’Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson. This will be Ahmed’s first active game of the season after a training camp and preseason that suggested he could break camp as the team’s third running back.
