HOLLEY, N.Y. — The community rallied around 3-year-old Bryce Mott on Saturday, who was recently diagnosed with neuroblastoma that has spread to his spine.
Neuroblastoma is a rare cancer that develops in a child’s nerve tissue.
Bryce is undergoing chemotherapy treatment and recently celebrated his third birthday in the hospital. Support for Bryce and his family, including his younger sister, has poured in from across the community.
“We are beyond grateful, humbled for the community we have. It’s been unbelievable,” said Nate Mott.
“Exceeded all expectations by a million,” said Brynn Mott.
Many donors are anonymous but their generosity is making a difference as the family faces the next six months of treatment. There is an online fundraiser with a goal of $15,000 that has passed $16,000.
