Actor Charlie Suff has opened up about his character Johnny Carter’s exit from EastEnders, while also teasing “big autumn drama”.
It was confirmed last month that the star, who is the third actor to play Johnny after Sam Strike and Ted Reilly, would be departing from the BBC One soap in the coming months.

He continued: "But I've had an amazing few years, and what an honour to go out with the Carters."
Speaking further about what fans can expect, Suff added of the Carters: "There's a lot in store for the guys. It's very dramatic. It's all part of the big autumn drama, and yeah, there's lots in store for the guys."
Stuff made his first appearance as Johnny on the show back in 2024, arriving on the Square to help his struggling mother and alcoholic Linda (Kellie Bright).
