Multiple cricketers, who were part of the Pakistan National Cricket Team's Test squad for the series against England in England, are reportedly now under the radar of the National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). Senior cricketers like Mohammad Rizwan and opener Imam-ul-Haq have been named by the investigation agency.
As per a Pakistani media outlet, a total of three players are currently under investigation. It was earlier reported that a few cricketers handed their devices to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Initially, it was suspected that the shadow of match-fixing lies over Pakistan cricket again.

"The National Cybercrime Investigation Agency has sought three cricketers, two of whose names are known to us, according to sources. One of them is Mohammad Rizwan, the wicketkeeper of Pakistan; the other is Imamul Haq. There is another cricketer who has been given a notice, but his name has not been confirmed yet," a reporter claimed during a live television broadcast.
"However, it has been confirmed that NCIA has sought these cricketers because we have received some information from a mobile phone, which the agents of the National Cybercrime Investigation Agency want to investigate. If you have any information, or if you have called someone, or messaged someone, then they will definitely ask for the details. And this meeting, this presentation, is expected in the next one or two days," the reporter further added.
