ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A warm and muggy start to Thursday with temperatures in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. A front will move by with a few clouds and maybe a brief shower, but most of us stay dry. Behind that front the wind will pick up from the northwest and drier air will move in and lower the humidity into the afternoon. Lots of high school football games this evening and the weather looks dry and breezy. Mainly clear and much cooler tonight with temps dropping into the low 50s. Clear and pleasant Friday. Warmer and more humid weather returns for the weekend with a few showers as well. Threat Tracker will be green with fair conditions ahead.
Looking ahead to next week some warm weather to start with temps in the 70s and 80s. Some showers and thunderstorms are possible at times Tuesday and Wednesday. Keeping an eye on the weather for next Thursday and the Bills home opener. There may be some rain later next week so will have to monitor closely. Following that storm system it looks to turn much cooler. Stay tuned to News10 for updates.
