Indiana State Police closed three offour lanes amid an extensive clean-up, NBC Chicago traffic reporter Kye Martin said.
The cab of one semi was seen heavily damaged with an airbag deployed. Details on potential injuries weren’t immediately known.
“Major back-ups are expected for the Borman from south suburbs, Hammond and Highland,” Martin said. “Consider Ridge Road as an alternate.”
