Cameron went 5-for-24 in eight games with the club. He struck out seven times and didn’t draw a walk. Cameron played an inning in center field. The rest of his playing time came in left field.
The 29-year-old Cameron opened the year in Korea with the Doosan Bears. He hit .287 with nine homers and nine steals during his time in KBO. Notably, Cameron only struck out 16.9% of the time in 75 games with the Bears. Making contact has typically been the biggest challenge for the veteran outfielder. Cameron was putting the ball in play at a solid clip at Triple-A before his promotion. He had a 19.4% strikeout rate in 23 games with Buffalo.
