GREECE, N.Y. — On Wednesday, Greece police responded to a reported robbery at a Five Star Bank.
Investigators say Jesse Ryan Bettencourt, 41, from Buffalo, entered the bank and presented an envelope that had a note demanding money, and an employee gave Bettencourt about $300.
He left the band with the money, later driving away in a car that was parked nearby, police say.
Rochester police assisted in the case, later finding and arresting him, and police added that he was charged with robbery in the third degree and petit larceny.
He was taken to the Monroe County Jail and later arraigned at CAP Court. His bail is set at $2,000, and police report that he’s still in custody.
