ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say they’re looking for whoever fired bullets into a home on Quincy Street off East Main Street, hitting a 27-year-old woman.
Officers responded around 11:10 p.m. on Sunday and found the victim with a lower-body gunshot wound. An ambulance rushed her to the hospital, and she is expected to survive.
Investigators eventually determined that someone fired into the home while six people were inside, including a 2 year old. News10NBC’s photojournalist saw officers surrounding the house and using drones to look for evidence.
Police say no suspects are in custody, and they’re still looking into what led up to the gunfire. Check back for updates.
