The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts a continued drop in temperatures across most of the country.
Slightly hot and humid conditions are expected during the early morning hours across most of the nation, from Saturday until Thursday, September 3.
The EMA explained that the expected maximum temperatures on the northern coast will range between 30-31C, while Cairo and Lower Egypt will be around 34-35C.
Temperatures will rise in northern Upper Egypt to range between 35C and 37C, while southern Upper Egypt will see the highest temperatures from 39-42C.
The weather will be hot and humid during the day across most of the country, very hot in southern Upper Egypt, and slightly hot and humid during the night.
Weather maps predict fog formation from four to eight am on some roads leading to and from the northern parts of the country, including Greater Cairo, the Suez Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.
Drivers are warned to exercise caution while driving during these periods of reduced visibility.
Satellite imagery show occasional wind activity across most of the country on Sunday, which may stir up sand and dust in parts of southern Egypt.
There will also be a chance of light rainfall on Sunday, in parts of the northern coastal governorates and northern Lower Egypt.
The EMA said it continues to monitor weather developments, urging citizens to follow daily updates.
