Soap fans will have to wait another day to see the next episodes of Emmerdale and Coronation Street, with both of the ITV shows being moved from today's (Tuesday 25 August) schedules.
This is because ITV is airing the Carabao Cup match between Nottingham Forest and Leeds United, which will kick off at 8pm and air on the channel from 7:30pm.
Thankfully, Emmerdale and Coronation Street will back on the channel on Wednesday 26 August, with Emmerdale airing at 8pm and Coronation Street airing at 8:30pm.
The synopsis for Wednesday's Emmerdale says that it will see Caleb "triumphant", while "Dawn has a big decision to make and Graham is in a tricky position".
Meanwhile, the synopsis for the new episode of Coronation Street says: "Lucy uses a therapy session to voice her contempt for the Metcalfes, while Maggie's careless words dampen Brian's ardour. Ollie comes to Christina's aid, and Bethany spots blood on Kit's shirt."
It's a particularly big week on Emmerdale, as a lavish wedding is on the horizon for Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) and Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley).
However, Joe doesn't know that Dawn is secretly planning to leave the country with his unborn baby, ex-husband Billy (Jay Kontzle) and their children.
All of this was masterminded by Caleb Miligan (William Ash) and his spouse Ruby (Beth Cordingly), who are seeking revenge on Joe for years of falling victim to his misdemeanours.
It all kicked off on Monday (24 August) with Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) trying to talk Dawn out of the jilting – but we'll have to wait and see how things play out.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and from 7am on ITVX. Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV1 or can be streamed from 7am on ITVX.
