August 17-20, 2026 UBC Aquatic Centre, Vancouver, Canada LCM 50 Meters Event Page Live Results Psych Sheets Live Stream Recaps Prelims: Day 1 | Day 2 Final: Day 1It’s the 2nd finals session of the 2026 Junior Pan Pacific Championships from Vancouver, featuring the finals in the 400 IM, 100 free, 100 breast, 50 back, and the 4×200 freestyle relays.
The 400 IM will kick us off as the longest individual event of the session, as top seeds Audrey Derivaux (4:44.40) and Raito Numata (4:14.76) will look to maintain their top-seeded status in hopes of Jr. Pan Pac gold.
Australia’s Jodie Mead, coming off a runner-up finish in the 200 free on night 1, will look to top the girls’ 100 free against a tightly contested final, one that saw the top six prelims swimmers finish within four tenths of her. The men’s race will feature the US duo of Jordan Ragland and Luka Mijatovic as the top seeds, with times of 49.38 and 49.61, respectively.
Lilla Ribot De Bresac clocked the lone 1:08 prelims swim in the girls’ 100 breast this morning in 1:07.56, nearly a full second faster than the rest of the field. Yusei Imaizumi nearly cracked the 1:00 barrier this morning in 1:00.17, the fastest time in the prelims by more than a second.
Our final individual event of the final will be the 50 backstroke, as Alyssa Sagle (28.74) and 50 fly champion Gabi Brito (28.75), both representing the US, will lead the charge, separated by only one-hundredth of a second in the prelims, and battle for a spot on the podium with a hungry field behind them. Singapore’s Tedd Windsor Chan (25.76) and New Zealand’s Lucas Bell (25.88) head into the boys’ 50 back final as the lone sub-26-second prelims swimmers.
