While the Terraflare Pro has plenty to offer gamers, I’ve found myself using it primarily as a productivity keyboard. From the feel of the switches to the convenience of the built-in display and its flexible connectivity options, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The typing experience is where that starts.

Typing Experience

The Redragon Terraflare Pro has quickly become a keyboard I genuinely enjoy using for work. The Mint Mambo linear switches have a 40gf actuation force, which I found very comfortable even during long writing sessions. The keys don’t require much effort to actuate, but they still provide a satisfying feel with each keystroke. I’ve also been very happy with my typing accuracy on the Terraflare Pro. Using Monkeytype, I recorded a typing speed of 87 WPM with 99% accuracy, which reflects how comfortable and consistent the keyboard feels for me.

One of my favorite aspects of the switches is their sound. Rather than producing the pronounced click associated with some mechanical keyboards, they have a satisfying pop that I really enjoy. In fact, I find myself looking at the keyboard’s clock more often than the clock displayed on my computer. Comfort & Everyday Use

The full-size layout works very well with my desk setup, and I had no trouble adapting to the key spacing or overall layout. The keyboard also feels stable on the desk, whether I’m typing or gaming, and doesn’t feel like it is going to move around during use.

Most importantly, the Terraflare Pro remains comfortable during extended work sessions. Since I regularly spend more than eight hours a day working at a keyboard, that is perhaps the biggest compliment I can give it. This is a keyboard I would happily use every day, and that’s more meaningful to me than simply having a long list of features.
