In the early morning hours of Saturday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami replied to Rishabh Pant, saying the state government will help the Team India star to find land, as he is proud of Uttarakhand.
Pant, whose career is shaped in Delhi, was actually born in Roorkee in Uttarakhand's Haridwar district. Years later, he wants to go back to his roots, and for that, he is promised to receive help from the government.
Through a social media post, the Uttarakhand Chief Minister replied to Rishabh Pant that he is the pride of the entire state. With his presence, Uttarakhand will become famous in the country as well as around the world.
"Dear Rishabh, you are the pride of Uttarakhand. With your splendid performance and achievements, you have illuminated the name of Devbhoomi in the country and the world. Your love for your motherland and your sentiment of returning here to contribute are highly commendable,” Dhami wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Dhami further mentioned in the 'X' post that needful instructions have already been passed to the concerned officials, who will soon reach out to Rishabh Pant about the land acquisition.
“Regarding the matter you have raised, instructions are being issued to the concerned officials. They will soon contact you and ensure all possible cooperation in accordance with the rules,” the social media post further reads.

"I have been trying to buy land to shift my base from Delhi to Uttarakhand, and I couldn't find anything facilitating and big enough to live here. I love Uttarakhand. Please look into this matter; it's been 3 years," Pant's 'X' post reads.
Rishabh Pant is currently in Sri Lanka with the India National Cricket Team for a two-match Test series.
