China Open 2026 snooker order of play today (Saturday 8 August)

The China Open is back! After seven years away, the ranking tournament returns to the World Snooker Tour schedule for the 2026/27 campaign.

It was once a fixture of the snooker calendar and that is reflected in the star-studded field that will battle on the baize at the Riverside Sports Centre in Taiyuan over the next week or so.

The third stop this season follows on from the Shanghai Masters, where World No.1 Judd Trump won his second crown. Trump will have to wait until Sunday to start his challenge at the China Open, when he'll face Noppon Saengkham.

Saturday's schedule started early with the wildcard round but the later sessions are all about homegrown talent. Zhou Yuelong, Ding Junhui, Liu Hongyu, and world champion Wu Yize are all in action as the tournament starts with a bang.

Radio Times brings you the daily order of play and full schedule for the China Open 2026.
