Ariana Grandeis reportedly ready to hit pause after months in the spotlight.
Following the conclusion of her Eternal Sunshine tour in London on September 1, the Grammy winner plans to take a break from public appearances as ongoing discussion surrounding her health and appearance continues to dominate social media.
A representative for Grande confirmed the news to People on Sunday, August 2, saying, "Ariana will be taking a step back from visibility after she completes the Eternal Sunshine Tour."
The spokesperson added, "She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny. This tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much."
Another source close to the singer added that Grande has continued to perform at an exceptionally high level throughout the demanding tour and insisted she is in good health. "She performs a very physical show, and there is a lot of athleticism involved. She performs healthily and successfully at a very high level night after night," the source told the outlet.
The news comes just days after Grande's "Petal" music video sparked another wave of conversations about her health.

People also confirmed that she will no longer star opposite her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey in next summer's West End revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sunday in the Park with George.
Grande’s break comes during a new (or revived) chapter in her personal life. Earlier this month, fans began speculating that she had rekindled her romance with former boyfriendRicky Alvarez after the pair were spotted spending Fourth of July weekend together in Florida. Days later, Grande seemingly confirmed the rumors herself during a Brooklyn stop on her Eternal Sunshine tour when she changed a lyric in "thank u, next" from, "Wrote some songs about
