It's been a long and romantic summer for our Love Island 2026 finalists and finally, it has all come down to tonight as the winners have been revealed.
In true Love Island fashion, audiences were kept on their toes as they watched on to the Islanders last day in the villa before cutting to Maya Jama revealing the order of the finalists, placed one-by-one.
After much anticipation, Julia and Lorenzo were announced as the winners of Love Island 2026! The couple took home a share of £50,000 and memories for a lifetime.
The winning couple couldn't quite comprehend they had won the show and were lost for words or, in Lorenzo's case, simply couldn't stop giggling!
Their win was celebrated by the other Islanders, including their fellow finalists who missed out on the top spot.
Jasmine and Kavan came in second place, while Angelista and Simba came in third place.
This year, there was no fourth place couple in a major shake-up for the reality programme. Following Mica and Samraj's dumping, they were given the power to dump another couple, meaning only three couples would be in the final.
Julia and Lorenzo join a long list of Love Island winners, including Toni Laites and Cach Mercer who won the previous summer season in 2025.
Love Island 2026 once again became the talking point of the summer, launching with a consolidated 2.1 million viewers, up on the most recent All Stars series.
The series continues to generate ITV's biggest 16-34 audience of the year, currently averaging 0.7 million viewers in the demographic.
This year, Love Island had a new companion show The Debrief, reuniting last year's finalists Toni Laites, Shakira Khan and Yasmin Pettet as the hosts. The series launched with 425k viewers and became ITV2's biggest programme of the year outside of the regular Love Island and All Stars series.
In June, ITV reported that Love Island and Love Island All Stars had generated 17.6 million streams!
Love Island is available to watch on catch-up on ITVX.
