At its next virtual meeting Wednesday, the Ukiah City Council will discuss modifying plans for a proposed roundabout at Low Gap Road and North Bush Street. According to the staff report prepared for the March 3 meeting, staff note “the allotment of design funds available for this project is inadequate,” but that also “the traditional roundabout is not likely a solution for this intersection.” Therefore, staff are proposing other solutions called ““mini-roundabouts,” which are described as “utilizing more paint and less concrete (and) a less expensive solution.” If this option is chosen, staff note, the project costs could be covered by the grant funding allocated for the project. “These fund
