Twenty-three years into his rap career, iconic hip-hop star Future has earned his 12th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 LP chart.
Future reached the milestone this week when his tenth solo studio album, The Real Me, topped the chart. The record was released on July 10, moving 131,000 units the week of its debut and surpassing Olivia Rodrigo's third album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, which sold 96,000 units to maintain the No. 2 spot during its fifth week.
The feat has named Future the rapper with the third-most No. 1 hits in the chart's history, following behind Jay Z and Drake. His accomplishment has moved him up the list of artists with the most chart-topping records, passing Eminem and Kanye West, who were previously tied with him at 11 No. 1's.
