Weedeater is heading back on the road for an extensive run in 2026.
The North Carolina metal band announced the final dates of its 2026 U.S. tour, which will take the group across the country throughout September and October. Zeke, Royal Thunder and Yes Ma'am will join the band for different portions of the newly announced schedule.
"Stoked to head out again in Sept & Oct with our old friends," Weedeater wrote on Instagram alongside the tour poster. The band also encouraged fans to secure tickets quickly, warning that some dates were already approaching capacity.
View this post on InstagramThe run begins Sept. 17 in Lexington, Ky., before continuing through cities including Austin, San Diego, Seattle, Chicago and Washington, D.C. Royal Thunder and Yes Ma'am will appear throughout the first portion, while Zeke joins the lineup beginning Oct. 1 in San Jose, Calif.
Three shows in Davenport, Iowa, Grand Rapids, Mich., and Memphis, Tenn., will feature Weedeater supporting GWAR. The band will also headline the fourth day of Emissions From the Monolith in Youngstown, Ohio, on Oct. 11 before concluding the tour Oct. 17 in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Weedeater formed in Wilmington, N.C., around 1998 after bassist and vocalist Dave "Dixie" Collins' former band Buzzov-en came to an end. Collins joined forces with guitarist Dave "Shep" Shepherd, beginning a partnership that has remained at the center of Weedeater for nearly three decades.
The group developed a distinctive mix of sludge, doom and stoner metal, earning a dedicated following through its heavy sound and relentless touring. Its 2007 album God Luck and Good Speed, recorded with producer Steve Albini, became one of the band's most significant releases.
Weedeater currently consists of Collins, Shepherd and drummer Ramzi Ateyeh. The newly announced shows follow the band's earlier 2026 tour with Conan and Telekinetic Yeti, continuing another busy year on the road.
