The 2026 MLB All-Star Lineups Have Been Announced!

Tomorrow night in Philadelphia, the National League All-Stars will take on the American League All-Stars at Citizens Bank Park. And although we’re long past roster announcements (Pete Crow-Armstrong is the only Cub who made it), we did finally get the actual starting lineups for tomorrow’s game.

So … here they are!

    National League All-Star Lineup:

Kyle Schwarber, DH (Phillies) Juan Soto, LF (Mets) Freddie Freeman, 1B (Dodgers) CJ Abrams, SS (Nationals) Max Muncy, 3B (Dodgers) Ozzie Albies, 2B (Braves) Brandon Marsh, RF (Phillies) Andy Pages, CF (Dodgers) Drake Baldwin, C (Braves)

Although he’s having a really great season, Andy Pages (121 wRC+, 3.1 WAR) has been roughly HALF as valuable overall as Pete Crow-Armstrong (153 wRC+, 6.0 WAR). Unfortunately, fan voting ensured the former starting over the latter. That’s life.

And that’s the group who will start the game against Blue Jays ace Dylan Cease.

Now here’s who’ll step in against Phillies ace Cristopher Sanchez.

    American League All-Star Lineup:

Mike Trout, CF (Angels) Yodan Alvarez, DH (Astros) Shea Langeliers, C (Athletics) Junior Caminero, 3B (Rays) Bobby Witt Jr., SS (Royals) Cody Bellinger, RF (Yankees) Ben Rice, 1B, (Yankees) Riley Greene, LF (Tigers) Ernie Clement, 2B (Blue Jays)

Personally, I’m so happy to see Mike Trout in the All-Star Game. The rash of injuries he sustained this decade has really slowed down what was looking like an all-time career. So it’s nice to see him back in the spotlight, at LEAST one more time (I think he has plenty of good baseball ahead of him, but still).

You’ll also notice former Cubs outfielder Cody Bellinger on the list, which, whatever. Good for him. Bellinger found new life in a perfect ballpark for him, launching 29 homers and 98 RBI for the Yankees last season. He’s on a slower pace this year, but he’s already got double-digit HRs (11) and SBs (10) plus 51 RBI and a 116 wRC+.

As I mentioned, Dylan Cease will be starting for the American League this season, after signing a massive free agent contract this winter. He entered the break with a 2.56 ERA and a 36.9% strikeout rate over 17 starts and 98.1 IP. Probably shoulda signed him, eh?

Cristopher Sanchez, the only NL guy giving Jacob Misiorowski a run for his money this year, is starting for the NL squad. He enters the All-Star break with a 2.62 ERA and 57.8% groundball rate over 20 starts and 127.1 IP.
