Coleton Brady will be playing baseball in Baton Rouge next year.
Brady signed to play with LSU, but his baseball future remained undecided thanks to the sport’s calendar and the MLB Draft. The first 4 rounds of the 2026 draft were held on Saturday, and Brady was not selected. That helped make his decision, and he announced his withdrawal from the draft on social media.

Originally from North Collins, New York, Brady attended the TNXL Academy in the greater Orlando, Florida area. A right-hander, Brady is listed as measuring 6-5 and 212 pounds.
Perfect Game rated Brady as the No. 3 prospect from the state of New York in the Class of 2026. Nationally, he was rated the No. 56 right-handed pitcher and No. 173 player overall by the publication.
Brady, who doesn’t turn 18 years old until October, appears to have a bright future ahead of him on the diamond. He was on the MLB Draft radar as MLB.com‘s No. 178 player available. The Athletic was much higher on Brady at No. 71 overall.
