Despite a series of embarrassing defeats in Ireland and England, he expressed confidence that the team has enough talent to make a strong comeback in the remaining games.
He also backed India to whitewash England in the ODI series. The BCCI vice-president added, “There are two matches left in the series. I think our team will do very well. Our team has a lot of talent. Our team is in form. It doesn't matter if we lose one or two matches. We will do well in the future. After T20I matches, there are three ODIs. I think we will win in all of them.”
