Eyes will again be on Team India’s batting as Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is all set to feature in the third of the five-match T20I series after making his debut in the second match of the series in Manchester.
Ahead of the third match at Trent Bridge, Team India batting coach Sitanshu Kotak reveals why they decided to play Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in the previous match at the Old Trafford cricket ground.
Sitanshu Kotak told the reporters that Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s debut for the senior national cricket team was already written on the wall; the management followed that only by handing the 15-year-old his debut cap in the previous fixture.

"Ever since Vaibhav came into the team, he was ready to debut. It's not that he was ready only in the last game. From our point of view, the only thing about his game that we've told him is whatever his game, his instinct, the way he plays, the cricket he has played to get here, he should stick to the same (style of) cricket... I don't think otherwise there's any precise instruction (to him),” Sitanshu Kotak told the reporters.
