EastEnders airs horrifying Bea Pollard and Honey Mitchell cliffhanger in early BBC iPlayer release

Honey Mitchell (Bea Pollard) has faced the wrath of Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) in EastEnders.

It comes after Bea used artificial intelligence to imply that Honey's devoted husband Billy (Perry Fenwick) was trying to lure her into bed. She even set up a dating profile in his name.

Things took a seriously dark turn when Bea forced Honey to burn some of Billy's clothes in some form of witchcraft ritual.

Seeking information on her backstory, Honey met up with an old associate who explained that she met Bea when she was vulnerable and welcomed her into the home she shared with her boyfriend. When their relationship soured, she burnt their house to the ground and her partner is now receiving skin grafts.

Before Honey had chance to relay this information to Billy, he was caught up in a vicious argument with Bea. She dropped the lunch she was preparing on the ground, fell over and cut her hand on some glass.

She then smeared red wine reduction across the fridge, dialled 999, and implied that she was being attacked. With her vanishing into thin air, Billy was suddenly a wanted man.

In today's episode, police were circling Albert Square and the residents lined the police tape to find out more information.

Poor Billy had spent the night sleeping in the office of The Boxing Den, and Honey vowed to prove that Bea wasn't actually dead.

With help from Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), she staged a fake vigil in the Square gardens, expressing fake regret for not believing Bea and branding Billy a murderer. She hoped that Bea would enjoy being centre of attention, and be lured out from her hiding spot.

Initially, it didn't seem to work. However, when night fell over Walford, Honey noticed a hooded figure watching from afar.

She chased after them to the allotments, and was stunned to find Bea. She was forced to put on a brave face, pretending that she'd left Billy behind and they could now live happily together.

Bea was thrilled, though grew doubtful when she could see the fear in Honey's eyes. A scuffle ensued between the women, and Honey hit her head off the side of a chair.

Fearing that she'd killed her mate, Bea bundled her into the back of a car and drove off into the distance.

    Will Honey be OK?
