Edwin Lee Gibson, who has played Ebraheim on the series since its very first season, has teased that the finale will be "gut-wrenching".

He said: "We knew we were coming back last summer," Gibson said of when he learned that the show would be getting a season 5. "We didn't know that it was necessarily going to be the final series, but we kind of figured it out on set.

"Then when the final episode was sent to us, we were all like, [disappointed] 'Ah!' But you know, you want to go on top."

Gibson continued: "And it was just nice to see how Christopher [Storer, creator] crafted season 5, so that the last episode, while it was gut-wrenching, it made sense. Of course, I think there's still more story there."
