Target’s “Summer Treat Truck” will make a stop in a Chicago suburb as part of a nationwide tour giving away free ice cream, the company announced Tuesday.
From noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, shoppers can score free Favorite Day ice cream at a Target store in Niles, located at 6150 West Touhy Avenue.
The truck will give out free double scoops of the new Strawberry Angel Food Cake and Peach Cobbler flavors, Ninja slushies made with Poppi beverages and scoops of Tillamook Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream, while supplies last.
The Niles location is one of five stores across the country selected to host the free ice cream event, according to Target’s website.
The treat tour will also stop in Los Angeles, Dallas, Orlando and Falls Church, Va.
